Privacy Policy

Gym Brand Apparel ("we," "us," "our") operates the Quarter Turn mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Quarter Turn is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and account creation requires confirming you meet this requirement.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is never stored or seen by us directly — it's handled by our authentication provider (Supabase), which stores it in encrypted (hashed) form.
Photos and video you capture. Quarter Turn's core feature is voice-guided posing practice, which captures photos and video of you through your device's camera. This media is stored in a private cloud storage bucket tied to your account. It is never public, never used for advertising, and never sold.
Practice session data. Which division and posing routine you practiced, when, for how long, and which poses you completed.
Coach-athlete data (only if you use Coach Mode or link to a coach). If you invite an athlete or accept a coach's invitation, an active link is created between your accounts. While that link is active, a coach can see the linked athlete's practice sessions, captured media, and can leave feedback notes. An athlete can end this link at any time, which immediately stops the coach's access to any new activity. We do not otherwise share your practice sessions, photos, or video with any other user.
Push notification token. If you enable reminders, we store a device push token (via Apple/Google's push services) so we can deliver deadline and session reminders. This token identifies your device for notification delivery only.
Payment information. Subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never receive or store your payment card details — we only receive confirmation of what you've purchased, from Apple or Google directly.
How we use this information
- To operate the core features of the app (posing guidance, capture, storage, playback).
- To enable Coach Mode features you've explicitly opted into (roster visibility, feedback, prep reports) — strictly limited to actively-linked accounts.
- To send reminders and notifications you've enabled.
- To provide customer support if you contact us.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
Where your data is stored
Your account data, session records, and media are stored using Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider, in a private database and private storage bucket accessible only to your account (and, where you've actively linked one, your coach).
Your rights and choices
- Access. Your full session history, including all captured photos and video, is visible to you at any time within the app. If you're linked to a coach, they can export a PDF prep report covering your sessions.
- Revoke coach access. You can unlink from a coach at any time from within the app; this immediately ends their ability to see any new session data.
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (profile, sessions, photos/video, feedback) directly in the app — Settings → Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing us at Ken@gymbrandapparel.com. Data deleted this way is removed immediately, except where we're required to retain limited records by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
- Correct or update. You can update your profile information from within the app's settings at any time.
If you are a California resident, these rights correspond to rights available to you under the CCPA. If you are in the EU/UK, these correspond to rights available to you under the GDPR/UK GDPR.
Camera and media permissions
Quarter Turn requests camera and photo library permissions because they are essential to its core function — capturing your posing practice. We only access these when you're actively using a practice or Judge Mode session. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings, though doing so will prevent the app's core features from working.
Data retention
We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data as described above.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
